Remember the skirts on ebay about a month ago. The TRD option skirts from Jarcoinc that looked pretty beatup. Its not that I am afraid o the body its just that its not the look I'm going for. I will post pics up tomorrow since it is at my uncles house right now. Is anyone willing to trade their factory sides skirt for the trd options ones? I know they are beat up but its worth a shot. These are discontinued and that was the big reason why I got these. Again I will post pics tomorrow. Let me know if you are interested.

Perhaps, depending on condition. But I don't know if mine are the ones you want. They are the ones that were a dealer option on the convertible and run straight down the side. If you show me yours I'll show you mine. laugh.gif I've never said that to a guy before!

I'm not looking to get a convertible skirt skirt, because they don't fit and don't look good, sorry. I"m not oging to lie. It will take lots of work for the skirts to look right. Its just that there are some chips and pieces missing. You guys will get to see the pics of tomorrow.

Would you be interested in just selling them? If so, what kind of price range are you looking to get for them?

See I don't know how much I want to sell them for. I just wanted to be able to have enough for some oem sides. I know thats asking a little too much though.

No worries. They are more of an accent than an actual skirt. If I liked 'em all that much I wouldn't be looking into this thread in the first place. But they came on the car when I bought it and I like them better than nothing on the side. So I'll take my mildly bruised ego and move on. wink.gif

You can find some oem sides for like 200 or so. RPMgarage is selling them for 250 on ebay. I'd like to purchase these if the price is right.

The problem is rpmgarage rips you off. PLus he is on the other side of the world. Way over priced.

i don't mean to disrupt your sale or anything but you'll get more interest if you get those cracks fixed..
after that, i'm sure someone will offer their stock sides + cash for these babies... smile.gif

Thanks, I was planning on doing just that, but when its all said and done, I'll probably want to keep them. Its just that I am soo unsure with what I want to do. If I stick with these sides, I'm stuck with 3 options. The c-one lip, the eurou lip, and the trd splitters. I don't have the money to do the first 2, and if I choose to do any of the three its played out look. I need something more aggressive and different.

i know what you mean about being different.. everything has been done to celicas when it comes to bolt on mods..
if you want to be different, it will have to be 'custom'. i don't know if you're good with customizing bumpers but i've been thinking of ways to mod the gt-four bumper.. some things came to mind like merging the upper half of the gt4 bumper with the lower half of the trd 7th gen bumper.. stuff like that.
i don't know how that will turn out..
(btw sorry for bringing this thread way off topic)

Thats fine. You have just sparked some crazy ideas. It would be sick to have the trd 7th gen bottom half on the gt-four upper half. But the question is, how narrow is the 7th gen bumper compared to ours? Custom work I'm not afraid of. Someone should frickin photo shop this.

I can't remember what site, but i remember seeing someone modding the trd skirts off a 7th gen to fit onto a 6th gen, and remember he combined some other things fromt he 7th gen to 6th...think it was the hood, i dunno....but what you could do is sell me the skirts for cheap and so i can finish my trd inspired body. i got the trd front splitters modded to fit the gt4 bumper and the oem rears from chrisc, i just need the trd replica skirts now...pm me if you think about anything, we can work somethin out.
