I was wondering if anybody has or knows were production figures are for the sixth generation celicas. I have a 95 GT coupe and i have yet to see another GT coupe on the road. I see plenty of GT hatchbacks, and some ST coupes, but no GT coupes. I am just curious as to see the breakdows between body style and model grade. As far as i know, less than 20,000 celicas were sold druing the 95 model year, but nothing about model breakdowns. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I would love to be able to find this sort of info as well, but even calling Toyota yields no results. The best they can do is tell you how many Celicas rolled off the line that year.
It really sucks. How else are we supposed to know how rare our cars are? |

Ha, no i'm not from Canada nor have i lived there. I picked up calling celicas "sa-leek-ahs" by watching old rallying footage from the UK in the 70's. In the UK they call them "saleekas" too.

Out of 1732 people of this site, 107 have GT coupes.

I was going to suggest the same approach. So, assuming that the members ride section on this site is a 6th Gen Celica population sample, then only 6.2% of all 6th Gen Celicas produced were GT Coupes! |

Yes, but remeber that there were no 97 GT coupes, only ST's. In 98 the entire lineup was switched to all gt's, but coupes had MUCH less equipement than their hatchback and convertible counterparts. And for 99 no coupes were produced at all. It has to make me wonder what the rarest 6th gen Celica was. Id have to say that a 96 gt coupe or a 98 coupe would be the rarest, considering NOBODY on this site has one....it would be interesting to find out for sure, but from the sound of it nobody will be able to know...sigh
