I would like to get a nice entry level clutch kit for my 96' GT. It'll be installed with my build by the beginning of next month. What do you guys think about this Centerforce Kit? http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/...78CF031517.html
It doesn't include the throw out bearing...uh? Any other ideas for a good quality entry level / stage I set up?? This post has been edited by 6G96GT: May 18, 2008 - 4:02 PM |

idk if you've bought yours yet but I found the same clutch for less
http://www.performanceintl.com/cgi/shop/view_basket.cgi are throw out bearings specific to each clutch, and there for I have to purchase this one? This post has been edited by 99Celica: Jun 2, 2008 - 12:19 AM |

I have that kit, but i ordered mine straight from centerforce. Its decent; pedal feel is the same, and it engages smooth as butter.
Yes our cars have throwout bearings, you dont need to buy the centerforce bearing just any one thats made for a 5sfe celica, they are transmission specific -------------------- OBD-II makes me a sad panda
