whats up all, was wondering something... how long can gas sit before its no good?

as we all know, gas prices are making us grab out ankles and ive been eyeballing the ninja turtle even more now... it has 3/4 tank of 93 octane in it.

should i be good if i siphon it out? im thinking i will only loose some octane since it has been sitting since april 22 07.

btw went to autozone, and they told me they didnt sell any siphons, where can i get one i dont feel like getting a hose and getting a mouth full of gas lol

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

I got a syphon at napa. I had to drain a tank to replace a fuel pump in my corolla.
If it smells bad don't use it, you should be able to tell, if it smells ok I would use it
but only as filler, say a couple gallons to 10 of fresh gas.

hahah i have a reallly ghetto rig set up in the back of my celica
its fuel line from autozone and a walbro 167LPH fuel pump. flip a switch and i pump as much gas as i want smile.gif

oh i use it for my celica.. i have my black car parked with a full tank. i fill up a quarter tank w/ the pump, then i go and fill the rest up at the gas station....
