it's just a manufacter, nothing special about it. Our stock lights are made by Kouki. Just like denso and other manufacters make relays for our cars.

technically "kouki" means "latter" as opposed to "zenki" which is before kouki

this basically means within the same generation of cars, if its face-lifted or updated in a not-so extreme way, the original can be labeled zenki, and the updated can be labeled kouki.

IE the 95-96 240sx compared to the 97-98.

or the 94-97 integra compared to the 98-2001 integra

kouki is japanese
後期
it pretty much means facelift.

FYI: in Japan, they have 前期 Zenki(preface), 中期 Chuuki(facelift), 後期 Kouki(Final SSIII package with raiser blocks, beams, the best package) but over here in the states there only exists the Zenki and Kouki since the REAL Kouki never came (such as the final SSIII package)
