Today I went to 2 Toyota dealers to see if i could get some replacement low-beam rubber headlight seals and the metal clips that go around the headlight housing, and boy was i suprised! The first dealer told me that I couldent order any of it seperately, and that I would have to buy the entire headlamp housing at a cost of $293.00 per side...yeah right. So i went to another dealer and they told me that i could get the rubber seals, but they said that there were no such clamps that they could order, and that the seals were $22 a piece. I know this is a problem that others have faced, and I dont want my seals to keep coming loose, and I dont want to glue them on. Whats the deal here? anything i can do, or is the dealer screwing with me?

dont worry TOO much about the clamps. do u need brand new rings? cant u just glue the old ones back? just use a real strong adhesive. also.. worst comes to worst, try a junk yard. they'll prolly give u all 4 rings for like.. 7 bucks

I brought it to toyota when I had body work done to the headlights and bumper and the fools never reclipped them on the low beam drivers side i didn't notice they glued them. I didn't notice it until the glue eventually "cracked" because of the cold weather/snow we get.

So I'll just reclip them when I put my fogs in.

Oh on a side not....when you guys/gals got your cars did the seals come on the
hi beams also? Mine didn't have them ?
