what do you want to know about FG?
EDIT: what are you doing with FG rather.

It can be purchased at any lowes / home depot or specialty stores. But depending on what you're doing, you may need a special Chem-Resin. there are basically 5 types of resin. What are you doing and i'll help you decide what is best for your purposes.

if you are talking about fixing that little bit of chipping around that point, you aren't going to need to fiberglass that.
sanding + some spot putty/body putty is what will fix that.

but like Dman said, we need more information on what you are going to attempt to do with fiberglass to give accurate information.

well its not just a chip, the trd bumper is fiberglss, the pic above is just one of the corners that is cut of from the corner, its missing about .75 of a cm. also it has a big gash underneath that needs to be sealed. and supported.

basically i need to know how to fix the bumper imperfections.

what are you going to be doing with welding? custom seat bracket?
for that i would suggest using a MIG or TIG welder... TIG is gonna be alot tougher and you should only do that if you know what your doing, if you have no welding experience its a no go!
mig is fairly straight forward, once you know how to set the welder. I wouldn't do OA(oxy-acetylene) gas welding either, kinda on the level of TIG and its quite easy to f it up..
really the only way to learn how to weld is to weld, get some scrap metal and just start laying down beads with any decent welder.
i can go into more detail if you need help figuring out anything.

MIG(GMAW)- gas metal arc welding... http://www.thefabricator.com/ArcWelding/Ar...icle.cfm?ID=929 thats a decent article explaining the basics (i think, i didnt read it lol)

TIG- tungsten inert gas welding... i wouldn't even try it, but if you want to: http://www.millerwelds.com/education/tech_tips/TIG_tips/

OA- oxy-acetylene... the torches you see at home depot, takes a while to get the hang of: http://www.stanford.edu/group/prl/documents/html/OAweld.htm

ARC(SMAW)- shielded metal arc welding... also called rod or stick welding. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arc_welding

that should tell you everything you need to know about the basic welding... another site to check out is http://www.weldingengineer.com/

and to get welding equipment:
the best equipment is gonna come from a welding supply store and costs a pretty penny. My welding gloves cost 50 bucks a pair, but they keep my hands cool and have enough dexterity to allow me to tig weld.
to get cheap equipment goto any hardware store or harbor freight tools. the welder i have in my garage is from harbor freight and cost 100 bucks(not including wire) and works for almost any project i can do at home.... except for a... well you dont need to know about the project i f'd up hehehe

just to give you a comparison.. the welder i learned how to weld on, about the quality you would see in a top welding shop, cost about 4 grand and was extremely nice! I

you could do it yourself, but just make sure you do some practice welds before doing the final one you know?
