Well I think I have a busted lifter in my cylinder head. I was looking at a company called Alabama Cylinder Heads And they have a cylinder head for a Corolla. Heres the info for it.

COROLLA
4 93-96 1.8 7AFE DOHC

It costs 345 and has a core of 100. My head is in need of new valve guides and ACH says they put new guides in so it just makes sense to replace the head. But my question is will this head fit on my engine, and is it the same? I have a 94 ST with the 1.8L. I imagine it would fit, but I just want to make sure before I buy one.

Well what I thought was a lifter actually turned into rod knock. So I now have a hole the size of texas in my block.
