In another post somewhere, either NEVERSTOP or mynzeyez posted something that stock parts will hold a up to 76 shot of dry nitrous if it's at WOT....which the ZEX kit handles well. Check it out.

i wouldn't do it. The only reason that I would get nos is if I raced everyday at the track. It's too expensive. First you buy the kit. $400-$700 Then you have to refill the bottle all the time. I think that turbo's are way more effecient. It's like having a 100 shot of nos all the time. But if you on a budget go for it.

I got the zex kit on my 5S and i love it. i recomend the 65 shot though, after the 65 the 55hp shot feels sluggish. you can't use it in first though(tire spin is too bad!)

I use to run a 75 on my ST. I only ever really used it three times. Never hurt a thing, but I sold everything off my engine (to get money) to do my 4A-GZE swap.

You're exactly right. Lots of people just use the name NOS to refer to nitrous oxide, kind of like most people refer to tissues as Kleenex. Ever since the Fast and the Furious... wink.gif

Well...with the Zex kit....there's no button to press. You won't be able to do it in first as you don't engage it....unless of course the Zex kit thinks ur at WOT in which case that 55-75 shot kicks in and hang on! I might go for the 75 shot of Zex....but does anyone know if there are different kits for each ammount or is it just one kit and you can adjust? Has anyone installed it and how easy it is to install? Also, which kit did you buy and where from? (I know they have specific kits for different cars....but none for Celi's so which one did you get?)

i will recommend the Compucar Bag o' Nitrous to anyone. I have it on my ST. I have a 55 shot and it pulls it really well. I bought it from a friend for $125. I think the kit new is $409. The kit will fit on any fuel injected car. It comes with 10lb. bottle, soleniod. braided line, tubing, 5 jets that range from 20 to 100 horsepower, and all needed fittings. Installation is really easy and to engage you just plug it into your cigarette lighter and press the button. It also comes neatly tucked away in a duffle bag.http://www.compucarnitrous.com/690310.htm

They make a universal Zex kit, which is obviously the one i bought. I got mine at Nopi Nationals last year. The installation is easy, except for mounting the "box". There is nowhere to put it in our engine bays. All you have to do to change the HP is change 2 jets (Fuel and Nitrous) , that takes like 5 minutes.

I run zex with a 65 shot on my 3s-gte, I have the universal kit, it works great. But I do have one question for yous guys, what is the setup called when nitrous activates itself at a certain rpm, and when ever you pass a higher rpm it shoots itself(no button) its like having another 65 horse at 6000 rpm every time you hit 6000 rpm.
