so im putting a clutch in my 94 st (7afe). my question is about the pilot bearing (i believe its called), i dont see any way that the one that came in the kit i got (exedy kty18) is going to fit in the end of the crank, its way too big, and if it wont fit, that renders my clutch alignment tool useless... i also understand that apparently the old one should still be in there (i never took it out) but its not, theres no old bearing or any pieces that look like they used to be a bearing. so i dont know if they gave me the wrong bearing, or if this car doesnt use a pilot bearing, in which case they gave me the wrong alignment tool, or if im doing it wrong all together?? also, the pilot bearing does not fit on the input shaft in any way shape or form, and the input shaft doesnt have the little skinny piece on the end like the alignment tool does. (isnt the alignment tool supposed to mimic the input shaft?)

thanks a lot for any help.

i see... so then I need a different alignment tool correct? because the one i have is designed to fit into the bearing so it doesnt really work without it.
