I second those ideas. You should add to the first one street stories(not always racing stores, "I saw this ricer..."), also you should put in a basic FAQ somewhere around here. I asked the same questions when I first got here and now I'm sick of answering them. IE How much is the swap? What is the bolt pattern? Will 17"s with a 1.5" drop work? What's the biggest rim without problems? I'm lowering, what do I need? How much is the GT4 front end?
I could answer those as could many of us just from the top of our heads, all of the info is on the boards but no one searches so I think a basic FAQ would be a good idea. -------------------- i am awesome

I think the FAQs are a great idea, and maybe sometime I can write some up and turn them into sticky threads.
About the extra forums though, I really think that the site already has a nice number of forums. If there are too many forums, then new people may get intimidated and not post, or users might not see certain posts that they'd normally see with less forums. What's everyone else think about this? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

IMO the forusm would be a good idea, but then coomer post changed my mind, ive seen sites with many forums and then everything gets spread out, and such.

I also think that a couple more forums would be nice, but the fact is when I first went to celica.net I was a little intimidated at all of the threads there. the site is very simple and enjoyyable the way it is.
If you want to brag about winning a race, you can still put it in general discussion If you want to hook up a turbo timer put it in interior/wiring but I do like the idea of other threads, but as far as topics with really stupid questions go, I think all we can really do is humor the people who post them, and if we put up a technical section, your still going to get posts on "hoW Do I iNStaLL mY Washer NOZzle LAaZerz" just my 2 cent --------------------

umm actually James Bond does suck... he is just a lucky SOB with a lot of gadgets. He pretty much gets caught in every movie, and somehow escapes because something totaly random happens.
PS I still like the movies, and own several of em. |
