I clicked the View New Posts link and in the top four results was this thread from 2002:

The search results said that 95celgt had posted in that topic at 11:44PM.

I don't see the issue since there was a post at that time. Sure the thread is old but somone revived it making the thread pop on the "view new posts" page. Seems like its working perfectly (except for the fact that the bright color icons haven't worked in years - see this thread).
