Rollin out finally [After some retarded mess trying to pick up other attendees]: ^Twisties just barely starting^ *At this point Lisa swapped cameras and started taking vids so I'll get those up in a bit* Midpoint meet at Chili's: -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Nice video man! Poor Lisa worked all day on hers only to find out, since this was the first time using it, that the program wasn't a full version so she couldn't finish the vid We are working on all that.
Damn! R2 on 12PSI is a MF beast! That first run I got a really bad start obviously but honestly it made very little difference - R2 just pulls away uphill or downhill doesn't make a... It was fun as hell. Did you happen to get our last two runs? They were a bit longer and I did much better on those two. Major props to Joe and Keri for the work they've done to that car [Was NA originally BTW] and Joe's driving skillz. He blew through the nastiest twisties with just the right amount of daring, skill and common sense - a rarity these days. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. It was really fun the twisties were great, i could have actually have passed the silver supra on a couple of turns, i think his rear end was gettin a little loose. I was all over him on the real twisties and of course the long straights hed leave me behind for a second till we got to more curves.

My favorite was that 270* turn to the right and down to that bridge where we promptly had to stop and let that truck thru and then up and around again into the hills

Yeah - I heard one of the Supra guys commenting on how he didn't know the Celicas could do so well in the turns like that "I mean - I knew the MR2 could but..." Always underestimated I don't think he knew I was behind him That was a damn tight turn but it was hella nice. Was it the MK3 or the MK4 dudes that were making that comment? I don't like how people started to pass each other up on those back roads all like, "Look at me! I have 400+ HP! I don't need to be around you slow people!" It was hella dangerous with the blind corners and uphills; no telling if there was oncoming traffic or not. -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}

Im with you on that, i know the m3 passed me on a hill and i slowed down to let him in front of me cuz we were at the top of the hill. He never would have made it otherwise.
The dude in the grey MK3 passed like 12 of us, he had to be doin like 120 on that two lane road. Thats just too much on those tight hilly roads. -------------------- Sorry, no animated sigs allowed.

Was it the MK3 or the MK4 dudes that were making that comment? IDK really - it was just two guys standing in the parking lot at the time when everybody had gotten there. Where is the main thread for this [what site]? -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Great video - Thanks zero!

Major props to Joe and Keri for the work they've done to that car [Was NA originally BTW] and Joe's driving skillz. He blew through the nastiest twisties with just the right amount of daring, skill and common sense - a rarity these days. Thanks so much Death, means a lot to both of us. Elise's turbo sounded so nice spooling up right next to me she's come such a long way & you've done an awesome job working out all her little bugs & getting her interior looking so clean. Some of the higher HP cars were a little too nuts for us & we waved them past so if they went off we wouldn't be involved. I don't know if ya'll saw but the guy in the grey MKIII w/the whale tail spoiler passed us & when he did it was a bit blind & he almost ran into someone on the other side - not very cool at all We just wanted to have fun & be safe & be respectful to other drivers on the roads whether they were part of the group or not. A lot of those guys seemed pretty disrespectful imho & were only concerned with showing off how fast their cars were as if you couldn't see & hear already. I also didn't like how they didn't attempt to wait for anyone who might have actually stopped at a stop sign waiting for oncoming traffic, but again that just ties into the lack of respect & lack of maturity. Like I said, I kept the maps so when we meet up in the spring, we can all drive the super twisty Lime Rock Run first to Marble Falls, relax & eat there & then take another route back to get back to the highway. We all know how to handle ourselves & wait for the entire group so no one gets left behind or gets lost. I don't mind working with everyone to organize the spring meet & try to make it go as smooth as possible. -------------------- '87 AW11 MR2 "Super R2" 4AG-ZE swapped Stage 1 Complete

It was a cool meet, its just the guys with "extreme power" drove like maniacs without regard for anyone else. It was cool seeing all those cars but as soon as we hit the twisties and drove for awhile i knew that i wouldnt go with these guys again.
