I play the drums...I recently got rid of my set though bc I just wasn't playing anymore...I do have the v-drums that I can play when ever I want at my moms and I own rock band...I haven't played in so long so I lost lots of talent. Thats a pretty sweet deal...I remember when I was in 6th grade I got this nice set of drums for free from a neighbor that was moving...It was the happiest day of my life back then...My mom ended up giving them away...ooo man I was soooo mad!
I wish I still played more. -------------------- |

though i'd revive this old thread. any other drummers out there?
what kinda set up do you have? how long have you been playing? in band? i have a mahogany pearl forum shell set that i stained maple, a black beauty junior ludwig snare, tama roadpro hardware, zildjian a custom and a series cymbals... along with a 1970's 20" paiste 2002 series ride. i have been playing for about ten years and i play off and on with kids from high school, this year i preformed a few coffee houses and was in the house band for my schools battle of the bands. wish i played more lost a little interest when i got my car, now i'm getting into photography, but i love all three. now who is next? -------------------- |

I own a pair of original ludwig vistalites, I've been told they are worth a ton of money becuase they are the clear plastic ones, that I believe niel peart used to use. ludwig tried to re make the vistalites and it was an epic fail and sounded like ****. I got the original set and they are MINT. Got a gibraltar double kick pedal, cause i listen to real heavy stuff a paste 2002 series crash and ride, and a zildjian avedis 16" crash that i added on to the set along with a zildjian avedis 8" fast splash

glad to see my thread back. . . I have a Tama star classic probably the best investment I have made. Evans g2 heads, axis pedals, Zildjian A customs all around.
I was in band all through middle school until i graduated and now Im teaching set and snare lessons at a local music shop. If you have the knowledge to do it there is alot of money to be made and I get to do what I love every day. So all in all I would say i have been playing around 10 years now. I will try and get some pics soon |

I need to sell my set, I just don't play anymore. I have a black Yamaha set that I spent around 650 on when I was 14...stupid...I'm gonna try to get rid of it.
It's sad though, I just lost interest. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

I would pick it back up, but I don't have space to put it in my present room...plus, I could use the money for rims.
