Hey guys, I just swapped my daytime/highbeam lights with some Silverstar bright white lights... but the daytime lights don't turn on now... they only work when I highbeam. Any help?
Also, I just purchased some '94 oem fogs from another member site member (airfron)... was just wondering if someone could walk me through the installation process? My gt-s does not come with factory fogs, so I'm thinking this will be rather difficult. He's sending all required accessories, except he's indicated i need about a 15ft of 12 gauge wire, relays, a tap connection, and a switch. Just don't know the steps as to how to run what to where, etc... I'm getting my buddy to help me install it (who's a mechanic), but I just wanted to get a rough idea. Thanks in advance for the help. recheck your bulbs and make sure neither of them are burnt.. i noticed with my DRLs that when one is burnt out, both DRLs won't work.
for those fogs, they should mount up to the factory crashbar. you can do this without removing the bumper by removing the front splash guard (btwn the front bumper and the bottom of the rad support) and gain access from there. you'll need mounting bolts if your fogs didn't come with any. as for the wiring side, it's easier to buy a fog lamp wiring kit and wire them yourself.. it should come with a diagram on how to wire it. Thanks a lot! I re-checked the bulbs, it turns out one wasn't clipped in properly. now that they're both working functionally, the DRLs work perfect! About the fogs, I think mounting them isn't the problem... just the wiring. So should I just hit up Canadian Tire or something for the wiring kit? any specific one? (noticed you're from winnipeg, lol) |
