I was like 4 or 5 ft from her bumper and she just went backwards, right into it. Screwed up her back bumper too.

wow that blows... how mad did you get at her? thats the ultimate "caught between a rock and a hard place", do you get POed at your girl for messing up your car, or is it "only a car" and let it roll off your back.

Well I got mad, cuz well, I basically had to rebuild the front end with fiberglass and now its destroyed beyond my repair. So I got mad, but I didnt overreact, and now im just sad.

Supersprynt, i'm not sure about you, but I can actually repair that bumper and fender. It's not that hard. I mean, she did crack the f*** out of it, but you can put it back together using resin. Put the resin inside every crack ( dig into the crack to make it deep enough) let it dry real good, then sand it. Once you're done with the resin, you can get some fiber glass body filler and slap that ontop ( not too much, just enough to cover the rest of the cracks ) and sand that down. The shape of the bumper is already there, so you wont have to worry about it not looking the same.
When my sis hit me, i fixed it myself. Took about a day and a half of work. Now it looks like new. Better than new , i think. That's just my opinion. I'm not exactly sure what you can and can't do. |

Ouch, I'm so sorry dude. One time my X locked my keys in my car... I was like "what were you thinking?" I could only imagine if she had busted my front bumper.
Good luck on your car. You have met with many problems! Jon |

Supersprynt... man that REALLY sucks... bad.. I cant even imagine what I would do if someone did that to my car - G/F or not sphinx_race911 was right though about fixin it.. it wouldnt be that hard to do, there really isnt too much structure damage.. its all pretty much still there. If you decide to fix it yourself and have ?'s feel free to ask. as for the fender.. I would have a shop do that unless you go alot of experince with that area
Damnstraight on that.. my G/F spends more attention to how other people are reacting to her and her car than she does to the road... granted she has a nice car...for a honda but she really needs to watch what she is doing or she is gonna mess her car up... Her and her car: She is really bad about her personal safety in this car.. she has a sparco steering wheel... no airbag, and harnesses which she wont wear.. finally talked her into at least wearing the lap belt.. and then the other day I took her car to work on it and the lap belt was so loose I could of hula-hooped with the thing
LMAO no disrespect.. just found that ? funny This post has been edited by NEVERSTOP: Oct 1, 2003 - 12:00 PM -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

My g/f's cousin backed my old del sol into the end of a brick wall... the muffler ended up coming loose and a phat mark on the bumper. Not much to do in those situations, woman cry to much which makes you the bad guy for making her cry! I just never let anyone drive any of my cars, except for a few people I trust.

Women that cry too much are just over dramatic and TOO sensitive... I stay away from these types of women... cuz they'll cause me nothing but stress. Yeah, I'm the same way. I don't let ANYBODY drive my car except for my brother and people whom I REALLY trust (which is like 2 other people)... |

Well that amount of work with the bumper is a lil much for me, im not exactly real experienced with it, and the fender well, thats metal and harder to do. The other fender is worse and the day before i got an opinion of the guy whose going to do my car and he said that it would be best to just replace it cuz it can crease easier if i hit ne thing. So im going to replace both fenders.
If and when i do get the new front end, my busted front end will be for sale for cheap, its worth it if you can fix it. yeah shes hot. -------------------- |
