Hey guys, i havent been on in a while, i read all the new threads but i havent posted in a while. So last night i was coming home from my girlfriends house (she was with me) and im cruising at about 65 goin home, 10 yards in front of me a deer walks out into the middle of the road, i hit it, girlfriend screamed, deer flew over the roof. I get home (this was only a mile from my house) and i didnt even want to get out of the car to look. I take the car in this week to get an estimate but the bumper is for sure done for, hood is done for, it broke one of my high beam lights and my turn signal also i think the fenders may have been pushed back. Sucks, i was having a pretty good day until that too lol.

soooooo, im thinkin maybe time for a GT-4 front clip? and im pretty sure the car is getting repainted, ideas on color

gives you a reason to get a gt-4 front end now, and start customizing your car they way you want it...its just a door opener...i think white doesnt look to bad on celica but if you want it repainted i would look into silver, red, or blue...i think those colors look the best on our cars....black isnt too bad either...good luck with the car though man...everything will work out for the better

well what you can do as far as the insurance company is have them write an estimate for the repairs, and then opt out of the bodyshop and theyll send you the check. take it and get the parts you want and get em painted. easy as that.

smart but with insurance repair you can opt to pay a fee and get the whole car repainted, lots cheaper

well if your gonna go that route then you can work it out with the body shop to buy the parts you want and pay the difference in cost from what the insurance pays. they cant charge you extra at the shop if you go gt4 because all the parts are still OEM. then when it comes time to pay the bill theyll put the insurance check twords it and just have you pay whatever is left over for the JDM parts price difference
