So I've been in one of my first accidents about a little over a year ago. THe day of the accident was September 1st of last year. So a couple of friends and i decided we would go to ortega highway at 2 in the morning to have some fun in our cars. He has a 92 eclispse GS-X awd. And me with my celica without any of the suspension upgrades that i have now. So everything was stock on the car. So i was following my friend until he started taking off further ahead of me. I took it easy for the first 5 min or so. And this highway is pitch blak btw. So then i start going faster and faster taking the turns from outside to inside. But then once i saw a truck coming on the opposite side i no longer went in the middle of the two way road. Stupid of me i know.

But as i was going around a really big left hand turn that said to go 40mph but i was going like 60mph. I was going fast enough to hear my tires screech. and the tires i have right now arent any performance tires either.

Halfway around the turn my back swung out and hit the gaurd rail and then my front did. as you can see in the pics. my right quarter panel got pretty messed up. i was fine. But i could have got killed if that gaurd rail wasn't there cause their was a huge drop. So my stock sway bar i guess after so much tension after the turn deicded to bend and there i went into the gaurd rail. I was sorta scared and shaking a little. But i learned my lesson never to race on canyons first off cause its dangerous. and second especially since i wasn't ready for it.... tell if the pics work.. this is my first time posting up pics...

You're an idiot. You could have killed yourself or an innocent person.

Not on this site sunshine.
