My rear defroster seems to take forever to work. There aren't any tears in the black lines that I can see, and a centimeter of frost around the lines melts soon after I turn it on. Is there anything that can be done for this?

Unfortunately, mine take s a long time as well. I think the defrost systems just aren't all that good, but who knows, maybe you and I have the same problem haha.

I think it's just how our cars were designed. Mine takes a while too. I think it's because there is so much room in between each defrost line thing that it takes a while for the heat to reach the entire way between them.

I figured it had something to do with not cooking the factory tint but IDK

I figured it had something to do with not cooking the factory tint but IDK I've got aftermarket tint on mine, and actually did some research on that before I had it done. The only thing is, the film can't cover the little wire things. It has to be cut so it's really close (I think mine is actually touching) but not covering them. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
