Hi,
I've nearly got my whole car sound-deadened using RaamMat(similar to Dynamat Extreme but without the logo and the hefty pricetag), and I've only got one bad rattle still. The very back panel of my trunk(where the tail-light bolts go in) rattles a lot, and it's not just the license plate on the back of the car rattling. I've tried and tried, but I can't figure out how to get this panel out of the car. I searched websites and looked in my Chiltons manual, and it doesn't mention it anywhere. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get this out, because it's really bugging me having a rattle there when I turn the bass up loud.

same here but instead of removing the back panel i removed that black carpet thing inside the trunk behind the back panel and loaded it up up with sound deadener. then put that black carpet thing back up. sounds good now.

That's actually what I was trying to take out. wink.gif How'd you take out the little carpet thing?

behind your license plate is this plastic piece that connects from the bottom of the license plate holder to the top of it and there are some things in the corners too. That has some play in it and that's what's vibrating and rattling. You have to remove your rear bumper and put some silicon or caulk or something on those pieces to stop it from rattling.

How hard is it to remove the rear bumper? Is it just a few bolts and then it comes off?
