the weatherstrip around the headlights.
finally decided t make an attempt to make it look better, and i used a hot glue gun. works great! id take pics, but you can even see any of the work ive done just pull up the seal and hotlue that baby on there!

hopefully this helps others.

i used 3m tape on mine, good idea though, didn't have a glue gun handy, and i hate that stringy crap that get's left behind.

hot glue wont hold up to the variety of weather conditions all too well. but good job fixing the problem smile.gif

The only thing about hot glue is if you drive with your lights on for an extended period of time wont it just heat the glue again and come apart?

lol well, i thought that the heating up would be a problem but i live in wa. and its always effing cool as hell. i havent had any problems with it so far.. ill let you guys know when its fails.

yeah silicon is probably one of the best solutions.. i used it to mount my fog lamps to the fog bezels and my lamps haven't fallen come off. it's less brittle than most glue so it's more resistant to weather change, cracking, moisture, and shock.

One of the very few Celicas that is around me took their low beam weatherstrips completely off and use silicon in it's place. Like a silicon ring around the headlight instead of the weatherstrip. Doesn't look too bad, but it would look better if they had just left the weather strips in there.
