I'm sure with a lot of modification a lot of money and a lot of time its possible to some how fit it....but i don't think its been done..and if has been done it def. wasn't done easily.
Try looking up a 3sgte swap..that's a little more realistic. -------------------- |

ya it would be the same as you trying to do 3sgte engine swap. except like supershannon said 3sgte is more realistic and not so modern. 3sgte, or 3sge would not be a direct drop in motors. u could try 4age blacktop or silvertop. do your research this site has plenty of stickes and use the search button in top right hand corner to look up stuff.

Hey man, check out this sticky. It has some really great information.
It did kinda burst my bubble about a Supra swap (felt a little dumb after reading that portion) but it is so valuable if you are looking at a swap! http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1311 Good luck! |

yeah do it, they are a great motor, Like anything its going to require funds and time and patience. But it'll be unique, and unlike 7th gens you should have plenty of room around the firewall if you wanted to turbo it down the track sometime.

custom mounts, besides that, it's just another swap, everything an engine swap requires will be involve on this one, as with any newer engine, there are more sensors involve with this engine, so be patient and get the wiring done right. Find some GOOD shop to make you the custom mounts, after you get the mounts issue taken care of, you know the whole wiring, fitting, axles ( custom or spacer may be needed ) and all that fun stuff.
try to find a 2000-2002 engine as 2003 and plus they lowered the red line and included some extra sensors, the less sensors involve the better for your swap. they can be a pain at times. -------------------- |

also later ones are drive by wire insted of cable throttle.
you would need a decent aftermarket ecu to run the whole shebang but would be worth it. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r

yes its a good engine.
box's can handle plenty of power, there is a heaps of turbo and blown ones kicking around. 7th gen is lighter then 6th, prob by 70 odd kg. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r
