I saw KYB GR-2 SHOCKS w/ Vogtland Springs for 324.99 but I'm skeptical about putting them on my 1994 Celica. Does any one have any insight about these combinations? Will it make my ride smooth as ice or bouncy like a basketball? I would greatly appreciate anyones input. It's a 1.4 drop.

Is that a 1.4" drop all around? I went with the Tein S-tech springs which are suppose to be 1.4 in the front. I'm also running the KYB GR-2s, they aren't too bad and i don't bounce at all. Not sure about that brand spring tho, never heard of it. maybe someone else can let you know how they worked for them...

KYB will warranty their struts for lifetime and up to 1.5" drop, so definitely go with KYB.

Vogtland springs? I've never heard of them. The GR-2's sell for close to 80-90 PER IIRC, so even at $324 you're saving money.

if you give me 250 + shipping I'll give you my KYB's with Tanabe springs. they are 1.75" in front and 1.5" in the back. I'll send you pics if your interested. they are used thou, but are still good.
