Hi All

Ok this is my fault but maby some one help. frown.gif

I had previously changed the Bulbs on my dash (speedo, etc) to Blue LED's but they did not last long.

I bought new Brighter LED's and I was Putting them in when the Mettal sourundingthe LED shorted on the Guage Cluster.

Now I have External Lights, I have the Air con lights but no instrument lights.

I have checked all the fuses and they all seam ok (inside the car and the ones in the engin bay)

Where else do I look to get my instrument cluster lights to work?

HI

The bulbs that were working are now not working - nevermind the new ones.

Definatly saw a spark when I inserted the new one so I've blown something somewhere but I don't know where.

I checked all the fuses adn none of them are blowen.

The Air con + cubby lights work, The interiour lights work all I kneed a a place to start looking, Has to be another fuse some where.

I'll check the power tonight with a multimeter.

Hi pittfirefighter

Yes the cluster was plugges in. frown.gif
Yes I came to the same conclusion and traced all the tracks to do with ilumination. kindasad.gif
Yes I found the burnt out track...... mad.gif

Solderd a new track with some old wire.
Tested with Multimeter and all Ok.

Placed in Car and all working Perfectly biggrin.gif

OK some some saftey rules when changing Bulbs/LED's turn off the power to the cluster.
(I did not do this as all my outher LED's did not have a metal ring on top so no shorts.)

Thank you for your help.
It had me confused (ha Ha) as the fuses were all ok.
Then lokked at your post and whent thats it thats definatly it.
