Nice numbers...but really, for most "normal" people who actually drive their cars on a daily basis... it's not a very practical thing to do...although it would be nice to have...

I'm not bashing the 5S...but if you really spend the $$$ to build any motor... it can keep up to any other motor just fine... If you look back at the post...that's no 5SFE.... heh... |

Oh no... some people just don't know what they're talking about. It's not the block that can't handle the boost. It's because of the compression. I believe it's in the 10's...but I forget. The higher compression with a turbo, especially if imporperly tuned will lead to engine failure... this happens more often with the 5sfe than the 7afe. Likewise, if you build it properly, and run low comp pistons, a 5s block can handle as much as you pay for it to handle... then againb, same goes for every motor. |
