I just got my ct27 and am about to send my ecu to get rom tuned by ats. I was going for a ems or piggyback but my hp goal is at 300hp so A ats rom tune should do. I will be getting the following mods tuned on the car: 3 inch dp, full 3 inch exhaust ct-27 custom intake, fmic, and I need to know should I get 540cc injectors and a fuel rail. Will I see Abigger hp gain after the rom tune with the bigger injectors than without? I will be getting car dynoed after the rom tune. Dont want to have to add bigger injectors later figure should just do it now. What do you think? And should I go with 3rd gen 3sgte injectors? Will 4th gen work? I can get a deal on 4th gen injectors and a rail

IF ATS still offers a 550cc rom tune for the CT27 and you can swing the extra cash....then go for it. Last I spoke with them 2 years ago concerning the 550cc injector tune for the CT27 they said they weren't going to offer it anymore because there was no real need for the bigger injectors.

AGAIN, IDK for sure that the dont still offer the 550cc rom tune for the CT27, but if they do......go for it. You will not see any more hp gains from the bigger injectors unless ATS feels safe about turning the boost above 18psi. What I am trying to say is a GEN2 with CT27, intake, exhaust, FCD, etc will make around 280whp at 18psi whether it has 440cc injectors or whether it has 550cc injectors.

The reason I say to do it now if you have the cash and if they still offer this service.....is that later on down the road when you feel a need for a bigger turbo then CT27, you will already have the fuel for it with the 550cc injectors. Just takes a bit of expense off the turbo kit later on.

No, dont upgrade the injectors. You will just be making the car slower and causing more issues.
ATS doesn't even offer the 550 rom tune for the ct27 anymore, because there is no reason to.

Use the money to buy yourself a nice wideband, install your ct27 and rom tune, and enjoy your car.
