I have a '94 celica ST 5 speed, body is in GREAT shape, interior is really clean also. Only pics I have right now are on my phone I can text them to you if I can't get a hold of a camera. The motor is in perfect condition, bought it from a JDM import company with a warranty and guarantee of 50k or less miles on it. Bolted up to it is a FWD GT celica tranny with a stage 3 performance clutch. It's already on it's way for a swap into a FWD celica. Have ecu/harness. Posted $800 for the car and separate posting of only $1000 for the engine and tranny. Really need to sell so I can get a car, I don't have anymore time to do the swap. Email me the-house87@hotmail.com or call (860) 917-9588 for more info. Again, I'm located in Connecticut.

No I do not have the original motor anymore. The body has about 170k on it, and is in good condition. The only dings on it are the ones that were there when I bought it from the original owner. I am willing to sell the shell and the motor separate, however the motor is in the car right now (just not correctly). The shop that went out of business laid the motor in there and dropped it off in front of my house, so I need to find someone with a hoist to help me pull the engine out and hook everything back up to it (intercooler, etc) so it looks nice enough to take a picture of again haha. I also HAD the AWD tranny here but I am pretty sure my land lord did something with it (which pisses me off). The motor is a 90-93 which is gen 2? And yes I do know this is a great deal, which is why I really can't negotiate the price of the engine or car. I posted it so cheap because I really do need to get some fast cash and buy another car since I can't finish the swap myself.

I'm seriously considering this now. If you could find the AWD tranny it would be an automatic yes. I'm just going to talk to a few people, and get back to you. I may come see it in the next week or so.

Should be getting a camera soon. Still need to pull the engine out of the car to take good pics of it but atleast I can get some of the interior and exterior. I can't believe no one has jumped on this yet XD

Well to be honest you have zero details about this car. The actual chassis I'm not real concerned about, it's the reputation of the importer you used and the state of the actual motor.
Why is the motor in there incorrectly - how is it incorrect? Where did you purchase the motor from? Did you purchase a clip or just the motor? What year motor? 90-93 is what I'm reading from your previous posts, but I'm looking for a definite year. Should be on the paperwork from the importer. What is the state of the harness? Cut? Again - prior posts indicate its uncut - confirmation? What kind of clutch? Do you have all the parts for the swap? AFM, ignitor, axles for the GT tranny, GT mounts... Prior posts seem to indicate you do - looking for specifics. Oh and what color is the car? I could have this done in a weekend but I need lots and lots of details. Edit: Updated after doing some research. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Aug 6, 2009 - 4:04 PM -------------------- |

Edit: Updated after doing some research. OK, I bought just the 3sgte motor and tranny, took the AWD tranny off and bolted a FWD GT up to it. The shop that was working on my car, took my car apart, laid the engine in the bay half assed and dropped it off in front of my apartment right before going out of business and not letting me know. The car is grey/silver in color and hardly dinged up. Any interior damage (just a few stains) was from the shop when they loaded the inside of the car with all the parts they took out. The site to the import company is JDMENGINEDEPOT.COM you can check it out and give them a call if you'd like. The engine is out of a '91 and the harness for the engine is uncut, however I do not have a full harness for the awd turbo car. I bought pretty much all the parts needed. I think the only things left are 1 gt shifter cable and the steel hose that comes off of the fuel rail. I was in the process of purchasing all the parts needed for the swap but then stopped looking once I saw the shop had dropped my car off and shut down. |
