Hi every one im new here so need some adivce... i have a 94 celica gt and my head is nocking and i want to know if a 3sgte will fit on to it? i just want to get a little more power to the car.

your head is knocking? or your crank is knocking?
head would tick (valve tick) but not knock

gen3 3s-ge/3s-gte head will fit
gen2 3s-gte head will require some porting for coolant passages as well as drilling the head gasket

sorry i mean the head is ticking.. how will you solve that or you think putting a new head on is better? what do you go recommand?

just asking is you do put a 3sgte head on is there an different in power?

3s-ge head*** yes, u may notice more top end as the GE performance head has a much higher redline.

valve tick is due to build up in the head, clean it and replace valve seals. OR. new/used head

but. swapping heads also requires you to use all the GE sensors and can get costly with harness modifications

i guess if it get costly then might just swap it... hay thank for the adivce ill try to get it out and clean it for now.
