if you are good with body work and welding, you will be good to go, I had mine done in the exact situation you are asking. once you are done, make sure you spray undercoat on the inside of the door where it was repaired so that it wont come back. easiest way to do it is remove the door speaker.

like i said in your other post, it really depends on how bad the doors are.
if theyre rotted, the only way to fix them to last any time is to cut out the old rotted sections, and replace them. at that point, its usually easier to find a set of used replacement doors that are in better condition, and properly prep them before paint so that they dont rust out on you. the problem with our doors are with the drain holes, or lack there of. when i did my doors, i removed the door panels, ect. and cookie wheeled off all the surface rust i could, then coated the inner skin, and the lower section of the inside of the door, with rust preventive paint, called POR15. if you live in a rainy enviroment, or where you get snow, you may want to drill a couple extra drain holes, but just make sure if you do that you coat the holes with the rust preventive before you finish them off so that you dont introduce more spots for rust to start. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
