when i turn my speakers toooo high......it sounds like my speakers are going to blow up.....if i get new speakers...will that fix that and make my sound better? or do i have to get a new headunit or amp or somethin...i got an old headunit that is 40x4 TY

Are you talking about stock speakers? If so, then it's not just your head unit, it's those horable speakers in there. I would change speakers before the unit if it's possible.

yea i got stock speakers n a kinda old sony 40x4 watt headunit...so just the speakers would give better quality? aite cool.

Go with new speakers first. Look for some nice 6.5's that will most likely take care of your problem.
