ok, i bought some ssiii risers and was curious as to what can be used to clean them, they have some gunk on the outside of them and it will not come off with normal car wash soloution, any suggestiones?

That's actually what I'm doing now I sanded them with 200 then 400 wet then layed down a coat of primer. Now I'm thinkin of leaving them black because I cannot find my color paint anywhere... So thinkin black

You should leave it black. Thats gonna look sick with your paint. Ive never seen a celica with your color with black blocks.

ok this is what i started with, sorry it took so long to get pics of them up but here they are
dirty when i got them,

when i started on them with the primer and sanding all that junk,

then this is basically the finished product,

i do like the primer flat black look, but still juggleing between flat and gloss, but i know that just leaving primer on them is not an option, so hopefully i can have them painted on wednesday and installed friday, so what ya think?

why don't you take them ssiii stickers off when you paint them?
I have an extra brand new set of SSIII stickers

I don't know what it looks like in person, but I like the stickers that way actually- looks like they're incorporated into the riser, not just 'stuck on.'

lol i kinda like they way it looks like this, and i really didnt wanna mess with prying them off and getting them back on, but they kinda look how the gt-4 blocks look with the embossed logo

I think it will compliment the tinted windows a lot. The black/teal thing is actually growing on me more and more. haha

well looks like the risers are not going on, aparently my spoiler is weird and does not have the indentaions in the bottom of the spoiler where the lifted section of the risers go into and they are not there so its not going on anytime soon

Well, I sent him a PM and stuff.. still waiting. It's not been a few hours, so I'm not worried yet. Man, you have no idea though how much I want them.
