there are a few diff. brands out there, it depends what ur looking for as far as drop & ride quality...genral rule is u get what u pay for..although its not always true..hehe
several people here including myself have eibach sportline springs installed(1.5"drop), and i am happy with them...improved handling a bit (I.E. stiffer) and killed the wheelgap nicley..they cost around 200.. the TRD springs are made by eibach so no need to spend the extra $ there IMO.. tien has springs for our cars now, as well as a few others... its just a matter of what you want, man.. good luck, hope that helps some! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

what about Toms Springs? i found some for a great price, but i cant find any reviews on them. i liked them cause they were 1.5front and 1.75 rear. that would make our cars look more even when dropped.

Do you just have the springs on there? or did you have to put different struts/shocks on your car??? thanks |

well i didnt "HAVE" to put new struts in...but seeing as how the car was about 8yrs old when i did the springs, and the old struts were just about worn out, i did change out the strut/shocks...i also put in new mounts, and new boots too...just figured might as well do it right the first time and not have to mess with it again.
works well for me.. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

The stock struts will work fine as long as they aren't too worn out. If they are worn out, then you'll probably have a pretty bouncy ride. Its a good idea to go ahead and change them since you're gonna have all the stuff out anyways, if there's room for it in your budget.
