for those out there who specialize in audio or know many things about audio please help. we have talked about the radio and units on this forum before, but has anyone got an idea of the biggest size radio unit such as a double din deck we can fit in to the radio trim which will flush out nicely? what's the biggest in measurement in size WxHxD we can have.

pic here is just an example:

will a unit size of:

8in (width) * 4in (height) * 6.3 in (depth)

fit or is it too big in the height or length or depth

and please post picture if you can thanks

Looks like another version of the Z1. IDK why Pioneer would make anything but a single or double din sized head unit. The Z1 is double din. Id say youre safe. The 7G Celica has a double din isomount slot, same as the 6G.

aftermarket radios are all either DIN or DOUBLEDIN in size, which both will fit. you will just need a wiring harness to make this fit into your car.
best buy sells the harness for 21.99

hahahaha...thanks you guys....i got my from ebay...one of the members had recommended a guy who sells adapters female and male that connected to the oem radio harness or to splice with oem harness if the oem harness has been cut for an already installed aftermarket radio.

so to confirm, any after market site will have direct fit flush....?

CAR DVD/NAVI combo

this is site i will be looking into. tell me what you think.

some units will protrude out more than others.. the best way for a flush look is to drill new holes on the brackets so the headunit is mounted flush to your liking
