looking to turbo my 1.8. i want lil project. ill be running only 8 lbs only because ill be using stock internals. motor has 127xxx. but any wayy ill run the ebay turbo until i can afford a garret turbo and forged internals. kit cost 399. shipped every thing is included but the header, and the oil filter relocating kit. what do you all think? waste of time buying this or no?

maybe ill just save up the extra 200 to 300 for a 4agze supercharged motor!!!? should mount right up right? and how about the ecu? stock st or need that too?

4a is a great engine... in a corolla, or even those 95 subaru imprezzas... i don't like them in celicas. i'd say save up for a respectable 7a swap or 3sgte.
those ebay kits are awful... no quality and everyone who buys em either blows it up or realizes the poor quality and upgrades to the real deal. save your hard earned money for something worth while! the 4a isn't cost effective for the power out put... good luck though. hit me up sometimes if you have free time. maybe we can meet up in park city or something... haha This post has been edited by garin: Mar 23, 2010 - 10:31 PM -------------------- |
