I have a pair of 168 led bulbs that ive had on my celica's license plate for almost a year. One of them decided to go out so I need to get new ones. Anybody have any recommendations for which ones I should get? Also, those stupid plastic covers are kinda tinted and dirty, anybody have the part # for those so I can get new ones?

kevinkoda, how long have you had them installed for?
Every LED I try works fine at first, but then ends up burning out after a month or two. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

The load resistor kit on the bottom should solve them blowing out before their due. That site should be plenty supply of any LED bulbs needs. This post has been edited by rave2n: Mar 25, 2010 - 1:57 PM |

I thought that load resistor kit was for BMW's and other cars that have onboard electronics that falsely indicate the bulb is blown out when you use LEDs. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Those lenses you mentioned are pretty much the entire cost of the lamp assembly itself. Mine are mint, no fading, cracking, broken tabs, scratches, nothing.
I have a set up for sale in the FS section, linked in my signature - Pay for em and they're yours. This post has been edited by Espo: Mar 25, 2010 - 8:46 PM -------------------- |
