Saw these on eBay & were relatively inexpensive ... my 100 series Landcruiser comes with nice looking chrome dial rings as standard factory fitting, so I thought they look pretty cool in my Celica too thumbsup.gif . Took the punt & ordered them from an eBay seller in England along with a gear shifter boot. The international postage to Australia was very quick so quite happy to get them fitted.

The 'Before' shot of the standard dash ... still in my car.

Pulled out ready to strip the front off ...

Removed the front panel ...

Ready to fit the chrome rings ...

Chrome Dial Rings fitted & the front bezel re-fitted ...

The 'After' shot ... All fitted back into my car ...

VERY pleased with the subtle change ... looks quite classy woot.gif

it looks good but our interior doesn't have anything shiny.... so it might stand out a bit. but good job anyway. thumbsup.gif

maybe if you had other accents like chrome door handles or something like that it would kinda complete the look.... i dunno.

That's awesome. This would complement a silver-accented interior quite well.

I see 94-99 on the package, so I assume these are specifically for 6GCs?

I agree with what others have said. There's nothing very shiny in the car, so it draws attention to itself. But I like it anyway! Definitely a mod worth doing. Post some links for where you got this from, please wink.gif

Looks almost like the TRD gauges, without the TRD styling. I like it!

Nope. The whole thing has to come out. The gauge cluster is really simple to remove.

Two screws on the black piece above the cluster
Four screws hold the cluster in the dash
Three connectors in the back
and finally two screws holding the clear part to the cluster

You have to remove the clear part to get to the bezel that you would mount the chrome rings to.

Nope you are wrong
i only remove the black plastic and the gauge cluster stay in the place
than fit the rings in the black plastic

I installed some rings in my 300zx and I loved the look. They look great in your car and I now want to get some for mine.
