got bored saw valve cover and timing belt cover and decided to make it PURRTY biggrin.gif

tell me what u guys think (be nice)
(and sorry mods feel free to move if in wrong section didnt know where to put it)

started off with 5-7 coats of hi temp black




added some bling alternated the glitter spray with hi temp clear about 5-6 times


added some drip effect to it then added 5 more layers of the hi temp clear and VIOLA powder coat look? check. powerder coat durability? eenhhhh IDK. biggrin.gif





the pics dont pick up the detail (need a better digicam)

and yes, its a dirty eclipse aKa my beloved beater FTW!

It looks like a valve cover you'd find inside something Ken Block would drive.

It looks really great though!

thanx guys! stephen, i was actually thinking the same thing, im considering going over it with a couple more lines. believe it or not i was hesitant on doing the lines but without it, it looked too plain for my taste.

should i do the timing belt cover with the green lines? and the relay covers? my first thought was to leave it alone. didnt want to get too crazy...

I think that would be over kill. Just keep things simple and clean!

x2 i was eyeballing it and it wouldint look right on the relay covers.

At first I was all...


Then I approved. Looks good! I don't know if I'd do the lines on the timing belt cover or anywhere else, but I'd at least do the glitter black.
