Hi

I've got an imported Celica - SS1 I think. Does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of some sort of user manual or repair manual.

I know Haynes do a 90-98 all encompassing verion, but is this any good?

I'm not actually inteding to go off and do any major stuff and get out of my depth bot the odd minor repair here and there as things arise. confused.gif

You can get workshop manuals from Toyota - I think there are seperate ones for engine and bodywork etc but they are expensive. There is also a US Chiltern worksop manual that covers the 94-99 Celica but it is for the US cars, so some of it might not be relevant.
No Haynes manual just for the gen 6 at the moment

there is one for the 5th and 6th gen. i have that one.. it sucks though. when i was adding a grill i tried to use the manual to take my front bumper off, but it wasn't descriptive enough, so i just jacked up the front and installed the grill while under the car.

I gotta hold of the chiltern manual about 2 years ago and
then realised it didn't cover the 3sFE jap engine but most
of the other stuff is relevant. With any luck I'll be gettin
hold of a CD version of all the Toyota Manuals on the various
versions of the celica in a few days time, if its as informative
as promised I'll let you know, hit me up in about a weeks
time and I'll burn a copy at a reasonable cost,

Not having the dismantling procedures for your nose cone
probably saved you a lot of time and hassle (you found a
quicker way of fitting your grill). And it looks just as smart.
But I hear what ya sayin, it would be nice to have the procedure anyways...
