Yes. 3sgte,3sge,5sfe and 3sfe exhaust manifolds are all the same bolt pattern and can be swapped for each other. -Bryan- -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

why would you bother? you could always just port/polish/gasket match your intake manifold if you are wanting better flow...

For as many plans as it sounds like you have I highly recommend just going all out and doing the swap. You'll have a TMIC and it'll do something, you'll have a motor already built for turbo, less worry about straining your motor, and no major custom work required. Do the 3sgte. -------------------- i am awesome

You cant use a TMIC with the 5sfe. There is NO WAY for it to fit. The 5sfe head is to narrow.
Sorry I misread your post. No the IM will not fit either. Your best bet is to get one from (Biscutwheels from celica.net still in its WIP stage) one from (ITZITS aka Aaron fowler from http://board.mr2faq.com His are ready apon request. He has one with a 65mm mustang TB for sale right now for 375) Last you can use a IM from a japan 3sfe. It uses 2 runners per port where as the 5sfe and 3sfe from the states has just one and the #4 cylinder gets bad air flow. -Bryan- -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

dude, you posted this just for TMIC purpose and you already have one on that.
Just put it into one post. Just do the swap because it will cost the same or less then all the things it seems you are planning to do. With the 5SFTE with all 3SGTE parts will end up exactly the same except for all your internals will be worse off then just the SWAP. |
