I just got Ground Control coilovers installed on Saturday and I hate the ride of my car ever since. I beleive the shocks need to be change cause the car is very bouncie at the moment. What kind of shocks should I get? I heard KYB are not good for lowered cars. Is Koni Yellow the way to go? When I go over a bumb my car bounces everywhere.
Any suggestions on how I can make my ride better. |

Well, how low do you plan to go with the coilovers? KYB GR-2 struts are the same as OEM, so if you're lowering your car a lot they may not last very long. I have them on my car that's lowered 1.5" and I love the ride and handling though.
If you can afford the Konis and the installation(they require a lot of work to install the rear cartridges), I'd say go for those because they'll withstand a drop better I think, and they will provide you with excellent handling! -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Coomer so I guess my only option at this time is to go for either the Koni's or KYB's correct. I don't plan to drop them that low I just want the gab from the tire to the fendor smaller. I think I dropped them 2" so far.
Does anyone have ground control coilvers with after market shocks? If so what do yoiu guys have? |
