im about to replace some vac. hoses under my hood, and decided to go for colored ones. i hear that silicone hoses are a good choice.
i checked ebay, and my question is are they reliable? i mean im not running any serious mods, just headers and an intake on a stock 5s. can i trust these ebay silicone hoses? i also need dimensions of which to get ? 4mm? 5mm? 1/4? if ur about to ask: "what hoses are u looking to replace?" answer: im looking to replace as many simple hoses as i can without really any difficulty so -------------------- For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer

they look very out of place IMO.
also the larger diameter ones seem to collapse under vacuum i'd get the 4mm ones.. u can easily stretch them 1mm if u need to lol -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated. Yes most of them are 4mm. There are some that are bigger. Those are technically called vacuum hoses but somewhat not. For example the ICV hose is 6mm on one end and 4mm on the other if I remember correctly.
I just ordered pink 4mm silicon vacuum hoses for my car with 2mm thickness. I hope these are good. -------------------- |

Yea I am trying to replace the ones that I have in red and other ones that you can't see in the picture. And what are the most accurate sizes in mm that you could list for me that are highlighted with red? Because I can't find sizes anywhere and the people at Car Quest are dickheads!

take off hose, measure, order closest smaller size (4.5mm measured = 4mm hose)

i did this as well and be careful some of the thin silicone hoses aren't meant for vacuum pressure and as stated they do collapse making your car act Funky
