possible bad motor mounts? Options

this only happens when im in gear and trying to accelerate after shifting. frickin whole car wobbles like a b*tch through all 5 gears. i could feel the driver's side door panel vibrate like it's going to fall apart. i replaced the spark plugs, wires, blah and it drove fantastically for a month or so before this. i think it's the motor mounts but have never had it actually happen to me. i see on the passenger side mount it has a opening as if a bolt might of came off any ideas on how to check if they're loose or just bad? i see no cracks but ill check early tomorrow morning again.

hm googled some and seems like it's the mounts. ill have to find out which is the bad one.

i have the very same problem, and i think its the rear mount on the back of the tranny,


the problem for me is that i have lower setting of motor mount and my rear one is probably done, so each time i ask for some torque, the engine move way too much and the noise came from one axle probably

im thinking of redone completly the rear mount whit polyurethane, or buying the 4 original st205

yeah mines feel like that too. im storing my celica in a couple days so ill note it and deal with that stuff in the spring. it's annoying because you feel like your car's going to fall apart and the majority of the shake/vibration comes from the front.

yeah, thats is not good, but if i wait , and accelerate slowly, in 3th, i can use the extre hp after 4k rpm and speed it up to 7k whitout shaking..
and then in 4th and fifth,

its just not handle the torque when starting from first gear

you should fix yours bro, you drive it everyday. im going to store mines so im not worried about it. fix it now so you wont have problems with the car in the near future. drove it today and started to hear "thumps" so im sure it's a bad sign. yeah it sucks that it shakes like hell in every gear. it's annoying as heck! feels like it has no power at all when it's shaking through those gears.
