not necessary for your situation but if you want it for the looks, and might as well that you have the cash and buying a new one anyways, look for brands like koyo, pwr, megan, mishimoto,

RABIDTRD means that the fins are all aluminum but the top and bottom pieces are plastic, i think you were looking for fully aluminum just to have it.

you could go honda style and get a half rad, but you would need to get an electric fan with to go with it and make some custom brackets. i want to get one for my coupe.

Civic half rads from ebay will fit with the stock 7a rad hoses. I have one in my car. Should be able to get one with a fan for about $60. |

If they are more pricey then stock, then I think you are wasting your money dude. I've had stock since I bought mine almost 4 yrs ago and it was already in the car when I bought it and I still have it thousands of miles later and it's still perfect.

also, does the fan with the civic half rad wire into the factory set up or does that require modification?

^ like i said you honestly don't need it, i mean 3sgte oem comes with the stock radiator and so do many factory turboed cars even the 5sfte guys still use the regular radiator. again, if you like how it looks, don't care if you need it or not, and just like that all alluminum looks and have the money, i mean why not. like an intake i mean if thats all you got, it doesn't really do anything, but some like the look, the sound, and have the money, its a entry level performance mod thats pretty expensive for a good brand. but same concept.

also, does the fan with the civic half rad wire into the factory set up or does that require modification? You just cut the connector on the car and connect the wiring. You should hook it up to a 9V or something before you connect the wires though to make sure you have it spinning in the right direction for whichever side you put the fan on. |

I'm just using an ebay Golpher in mine, wasnt too expensive (around the 200-250 AUD, so around $210-265 US depending on exchange rate) and has been working fine no problems at all.
The only **** thing about it is that you cant use your Toyota radiator cap (not an issue if you still have a OE .9 bar one, but I had a TRD 1.3 bar one and I wanted to re use it). Subaru use the same caps so I ended up getting an STI 1.3 bar radiator cap and put the TRD one on the Chaser. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r
