Does anybody know if the non-aerosol plasti-dip can be put into a paint sprayer?

Not without reducer, and reducer would probably alter plastidips texture. Where have you found non-aerosol plasti-dip?

Plasti dip is sold in places like ace hard ware and home depot. My favorite one comes clear with a package of dyes. Comes in a can about 10 inches tall where you literally dip or can apply product with a brush like I was doing.

Yeah, i've read up that you would have to add some form of thinners or something for it to spray out not as thick.
The aerosols are very easy to use, but the benefit of the dipping can means you can make your own colors easily. -------------------- |

I used liquid plasti dip to paint my little sister's diving fins. After spending hours and hours on project and taping off areas I did not want painted I screwed up and had to pry everything out and start over.
Unfortunate part of plasti dip is that it runs and like regular paint it likes to pool. If you have things taped off be sure to keep that in mind. My plasti dip kit came with something like 6 different colors but dip itself is clear. Pour some out, add the dye and mix and paint ahoy. -------------------- Captain Pessimist

Just plasti-dipped my 95 GS 300 to give it a cohesive look while I source replacement parts....
Check out the before and after.... I'm in love with this stuff!!! The pics of after have morning condensation, but this stuff lays incredibly well, I'd say I did 5 coats on all pieces and the coverage is incredible. The celica will be done soon, I'm just debating on buying the car kit rather than rattle canning it next time, the GS took forever and 10 cans of plastidip. The nice thing is you can pick black up at menards for $6.00 a can. |

I just covered this. You will not be able to buy the pre-mixed gallons from a local store, unless they are willing to sell commercial packaged items. I have not found place around here to do it. Goto dipyourcar.com - Buy a kit, with paint and sprayer. Spray the car, enjoy the results. If you want more info on my process, or just some general questions send me a PM. DO NOT USE THE RATTLE CANS I tried, and it came out poorly on the hood and front bumper. To get the proper amount of layers you will need about 30 cans. You can buy the pure stuff at home depot in small 7 oz cans I believe, but you'll still need their thinner, which is basically a proprietary blend of Toluene and VM&P Naptha.
