So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on brake lines. I know there are numerous sets on ebay, but I'm not sure if they can be trusted. I am looking for a nice stainless steel set to replace my current stock ones on my st204 GTS.
Also another question... I had my rear passenger side caliper replaced this past fall... and for some reason I have always had issues on that side. Whenever I brake and then start to drive I hear this knocking sound as if my brakes are seizing and grabbing to the rotor, but its never consistent. It will do it a few times in a row while in a slow speed but once I have sped up it stops and only occurs again when braking. Do you guys think this may be due to the brake lines? or just sh*ty installation of the caliper at the shop? or is it something completely different... I know it may be difficult to tell but I can always try to get a video up to help decipher the problem. Let me know what you think and any suggestions about the brake lines. ![]() |

well i believe that noise is to neglected slider pins you've got to grease those bad boys i had that same problem but it was because my genius friend told me to use anti seize. and also i can get some custom brake lines made for you ive got a shop out here in ontario that can make any color length and fittings you want let me know if you are interested and and questions so i can ask them they are usually about 20 bucks a line depending on length i got 14" lines blue with brass fittings for 17 bucks each for my buddies 7th gen.

Yeah, all fixed. You we're right, I had to grease the slider pins. Theres still a little bit of noise back there but I think its due to my rotors and pads. my pads aren't the greatest and they sound like they are grinding every time I break. Going to switch them out soon. But thanks for the advice about the pins... would have taken me a while to figure it out haha.
