So I was driving for about 30min and then when I parked my car my friend asked to see my new low beam bulbs and when I opened my hood I saw that the pipe was detached and the intake was just there chilling. What might be possible problems if you drive without an air intake and what should I do to fix it?? I saw that I should change the oil immediately, should I?

Sounds like you lost a clamp.
I'm no expert but I don't think much harm will come as long as its just a quick drive to get back home or to the autostore. But you might want to grab another hose clamp and tighten that puppy down.
I dont believe an immediate oil change would be necessary.. that might be a precaution as unfiltered air and possibly dirt is now in the system.

Wouldnt worry about it as long as it was a short lived incident. Changing the oil wont change anything. Get a new clamp. Tighten that sucker down. How did you mount it? Did you use asolid mount to the chassis or anything that doesnt move with the motor or trans? Or did the clqmp just break? Make sure you find what caused this problem and fix it.

Turns out the clamp wasn't tightened enough my friend was the one that placed it, now I learn that if you want something done, do it yourself lol. So I. Shouldn't get an oil change yet, everything's fine?
