Hello Peeps! New member to the forum actually joined a few days ago but this would be my first post, I purchased a 1994 Celica from my mother-in-law for $500 bucks with 94.000 original miles (5spd). She purchased this vehicle about a year ago to drive to work and decided to sell it to me because she purchased a new vehicle smile.gif Lucky me. Im looking forward to playing with it in the near future. After doing some research I found out that the wheels are 18'' sport maxx wheels and the calipers were painted red prior to my mother-in-law purchasing the car and thats all for mods pretty much all stock for now.

Ive been doing some reading on the forum and have found a ton of info on here so far, very cool! Well looking forward to getting this thing started.

Beautiful celica for such low price redface.gif

Seems to me more like a coupe, or is it perhaps liftback?

Thanks guys! I agree best 500 spent for sure haha! Im not a stranger to the forums I am a member over on LVC.com...My Primary vehicle is a 2000 Lincoln Ls V8 but I will probably be driving my celica more the gas mileage on this celica is shocking Ive gone almost two weeks with out stopping at a gas station! MY LS see's the gas pump at least twice a week lol.

Yes Yes I know! I need to lower it! Couple of questions...

Lowering springs? I looked on ebay and there seems to be all kinds of after-market crap on there not really sure wich way to go on the springs?

Head Lights...I see a lot of you guys are running the clear lens headlight's ( I love by the way) where can I purchase these besides ebay? Cheapest set ive found so far used is around 600 mad.gif

Exhaust? what are you guys running for exhaust???

Thanks in advance!

Only two types of headlights for our cars. Projectors and non projects lol
you can try to make your own retrostyle projects, it isn't to tooo hard.
as for springs, megan, tein, ebach (probably spelled it wrong)

Yea I figured that lol I really like the clear projector head lights a lot and hate the stock, The projectors give it a very updated look as well, Is there anywhere else I can look for these headlight besides ebay? I read on here so far that you can get these from the dealer?

On to the springs I am aware of eibachs I actually just orderd a set for my LS, Tein, megan do they both have the same drop?

whatever you do, dont buy sleeve overs. every pebble makes you bottom out, but yes youll get 3 1/2 in drop out of them. full coilovers are the best way to go but it will cost you lots of pretty pennies, $800 is the cheapest. those megan springs dont state the drop, id do some research on them, for those wheels youve got youd want atleast a 2 1/2 in drop.

Welcome, Nice price too.

If you are set on drop springs, the typical brands are TRD, Tein, Intrax, Sprint, Megan, Tanabe, Eibach, etc.
For coilovers just check my sticky.
Headlights are actually 3 types, there is the ones that we mostly have stock with the lines, the ones that look stock with the lines and an accent light on the corner, then the nice projectors which is basically the same as the last one I mentioned but with clear lense and projector and the accent light, all factory.

the exhaust bolt on option is almost impossible these days so you would have to weld one up.

Awesome buy for $500! The black is nice and shiny too! I love my silver, but if I bought a second one it'd be black.
