I want to remove the EGR system from my engine. I'm using a stand-alone ECU and my AFR readings haven't been so consistent at low throttle/idle. Aside from that, I recently broke off a nipple accidentaly from the vacuum solenoid for the EGR.
I've seen the many threads of people asking for this but nobody's ever given a real explanation on how to do it. I'm not interested in being told that it's bad etc. etc. my engine is no longer stock and the CELs it has are mainly because the ECU is not plugged in I found a block-off plate for the 5s. It's for the IM side. However, I see nothing for the head side. How do I plug the hole on the head? Any ideas? Link to Block-off plate -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

I broke off part of the pipe from the exhaust manifold side that goes into the EGR valve and wielded the pipe to block it off from leaking exhaust, but you could find a bolt or something that can screw in.
