not gonna tell the whole story, nobody wants to hear it, just the important part... driving down the road around 50mph... try taking my sunroof glass off (dont ask what made me think about doing it)... release the hinges *WHOOSH* wind takes the glass right out, shatters on the ground.... now i have a big hole in my roof. please post some good ideas on how to plug it up, it supposed to snow soon and if anybody knows where i can get a new one (i need the hinges and all that stuff too), and how much its gonna cost me, id be nice too....

Whats funny about that is the other day I was sitting in my sisters peseo just starring at the roof and playing with the hinge and it says right on it "do not remove sunroof while vehicle is moving" or something to that effect. Not that it takes a label to figure that out.
Just put the garbage bag over your head |

You need the 'handymans secret weapon' to fix that. I'm sorry for all you yanks that don't have the peasure of seeing the red green show, but that is the quick fix (duct tape if you don't know). Man that sucks. Good luck in the future.

sucks, but shooting paintballs things/people?? eh...like dude said, karma.
garbage bag should do the trick until you get it replaced though try a junkyard? my sis had her windshield busted and whoever fixed it got the glass from a junkyard. ^ i saw red green on some public channel a long time ago. it was pretty funny This post has been edited by LuDaChRiS: Jan 18, 2004 - 2:34 AM |

i already spent like $10 on duct tape so i could duct tape the hell out of it... i just need to think of someway that will add some support, becuase when it snows (like its doing right now) the weight from the snow will probably collapse the duct tape... and im starting my search of junkyards tomorrow...

I had a friend who did the same thing with his camaro. They make regular sunroofs on Celicas? I thought it was just the sliding moon roof? Or did you get it aftermarket?

kinda reminds me of a movie i saw a while back. Except this guy popped his T-top off while moving, IT FLEW OFF also! duh . But its ok he was trying to help his friend that was hanging of a big 18 wheeler. His girlfriend had to take over driving while he jumped onto the truck to untangle a wire he had rapped around his arm. Pretty kewl movie, can't remember what it was?? ?? Maybe someone else here saw? Hey man...I'm on your side. Lets just say for posterity's sake that you weren't shooting cars and stuff...you were just cruising around on a lonely road shooting random tree's and stuff. We've all done stuff like that...OF COURSE you weren't shooting other people....right?! =) They got you all wrong man..but I've got your back!
