i understand that we can buy spray paint cans that have the factory colors in them, ie: white, renaissance red, etc.
where can i get them and are they good enough to paint side skirts, front and rear splitters?
i dont feel like spending 500 on painting the complete car when its not neccessary, im about to install the skirts and splitters and probably touch up some chips on the hood, nothing serious.

any help appriciated.

I have an O'Reilly's nearby that mixes factory paints. Duplicolor makes a few of the Toyota colors, can get from any parts house. They're a match for the original paint. Only problem is, the paint on the car has aged and faded. Depending on how the car has been treated there might be a slight to noticeable difference. Ehh dealerships should be able to mix up paints, but it'd cost a small fortune.

As long as its not major, like my bumpers don't match 100% withy the metal body but it doesn't bother me. I meant match more like Honda white vs Toyota.
And how well does it hold for jobs like I mentioned above? Do I need any prep work?

I painted my lips and skirts myself with a spray can.
got it from a local shop that mixed the color for me.
just get your paint code from the side of your door jam and tell them. they should be able to mix it up for you.

It's all in the preparation. Clean it, sand it, clean it again, primer, base coat, clear coat. My brother painted his bumpers with the Duplicolor, and it looked really close.
